Introduction
Photo infringement law firms like Santa Ana-based Higbee & Associates (who refer to themselves as a "National Law Firm") have been in the photo infringement game for years, but recently I saw what was a new player (at least first time I have seen them or recall seeing them - CopyrightRecovery.net (appears to be a Florida organization).
According to their website:
"We will search and show you if your images are being used on the web without your consent.
Then, with your approval, we will begin our fight to get you paid for the infringement.
Copyright Recovery LLC keeps 40% of the net recovery of infringement settlement."

Copyright Recovery LLC keeps 40% of the net recovery of infringement settlement.
I have seen a letter from this company. You might think it is a law firm (as there is a lot of tough-talk settle or else language and apparently a contingency fee for their client) but it does not appear to be a law firm and the writer of the letter I reviewed did not indicate he was an attorney.
Most important thing NOT TO DO when your company receives a photo infringement demand letter from PicRights or a photo infringement law firm
Contact a Photo Infringement Law Firm
Folks, call us if you get a legal demand. Do NOT talk to them BEFORE you talk to us (one reason is they may announce that they are recording the call - are you ready for that?
You might make damning admissions that you cannot go back on and which end up costing you hundreds or even thousands of dollars, all because you thought you could handle it.
We offer a low-cost case reviews and have vast experience representing both individuals and companies dealing with copyright trolls and photo infringement issues.
Call us at (877) 276-5084 or email us through our contact form. Even though the pandemic of 2020 Covid has hit, these companies HAVE NOT STOPPED ENFORCEMENT EFFORTS.
